Jorge Vera Du Bois, Real Estate Agent

Hi! My name is Jorge Vera and I would like to welcome you to my Gainesville Watson Realty profile page. I am happy you decided to stop by. Whether you are purchasing a first home, identifying different investment options, or placing your property on the market, I am committed to guiding you through the process and ensuring that you have a successful and seamless real estate transaction.

After 10 years working in conservation advocacy and nonprofit institutional advancement, and 15 years in disaster services with the American Red Cross, I decided to lend my experience to working with people in the real estate business. My family and I moved to Gainesville from Miami in 2001. We were drawn here by our love of nature and the A-rated school system for our 4-year-old son. I am actively involved in our community, supporting local nonprofits and charities.

With its abundant green areas and natural attractions the greater Gainesville area offers many options for camping, hiking, and biking. Some of my favorite spots include San Felasco Hammock Preserve, the Hawthorne Trail and Paynes Prairie Preserve. In just a short drive to the High Springs area you will enjoy the magical crystal-clear fed rivers and streams at the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Springs State Park. With plenty to see and do, Gainesville is a "small big town," with much to offer for the sports/football fans, young children and families, and retirees. There is plenty of shopping as well as fine dining, a vibrant arts and culture scene, and thriving night life.

Gainesville was voted among the top 10 places to live in Florida by in 2014 and ranked in the top 100 cities to live nationwide in 2016 by No matter how you look at it, Gainesville is a great choice for your next home or investment property purchase. I am a member of the National and the Florida Association of Realtors and the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors. Call me for any and all your real estate needs! I am fully bilingual.
